Wilpattu is the largest national park in the country and is known for its serene wilderness. Its signature features are the natural lakes, or villus, that draw animals from the surrounding forests. Leopards and sloth bears are among its prized residents, while the quieter atmosphere compared to other parks allows for a more secluded safari experience.
